COACHING A TEAM
Thank you for your interest in coaching. If you're looking to coach or have more questions, please email/cc the two commissioners below. We need head coaches especially, and these players need your guidance! Jack Friedrich jfriedrich@lsscpeoria.com Joe Bolen joe@lsscpeoria.com We are looking forward to having you contribute to the development of your child, his friends, and their experience in this league! To coach is to support and develop not only the fundamentals of the game, but also promote the growth of those playing.
TEAM FORMATION
During the online registration process, parents may request to have their child play with as many friends as they’d like. You may also request a specific coach. We'll try our best to accommodate requests, but there are no guarantees. Our goal is to create balanced and competitive teams while accommodating as many team requests as possible. You are welcome to create your own team and submit a roster to the Commissioner. If you don't have a team or coach specifically in mind, we will assist in finding a good fit for you.
F.A.Q.
  • Does my player need to have prior football experience?

FNA is an all-play league. It is perfect for first timers as well as more experienced players.

  • What is the overall time commitment?

Games are held once a week and typically require a time commitment of approximately 90 minutes. With regard to practices, this varies somewhat by team/coach, but we recommend a minimum hour-long practice per week.

  • When are practices held?

Practice days/times and location are determined by each individual coach. Coaches will do their best to accommodate players’ schedules so as to maximize practice participation. The LSSC will work to provide one practice date/week for all teams

  • How many players are on the field?

    FNA plays a 6-on-6 format.

  • What is included with my registration?

Each participant will receive a full uniform (shirt and shorts) and a flag belt.

  • When will I hear from my coach?

You should hear from your coach approximately one month prior to the start of the season.

  • How many players are on each team?

Majority of teams are made up of 9 players. Between 8-10 have been rostered in previous years

  • What is FNA cancellation policy?

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to your league Commissioner. For more detailsclick here
