COACHING A TEAM
Interested in coaching??? Please register as a coach by clicking on the link under the Mandeville page.
Prior to season start, we will hold a mandatory coaches' meeting. This meeting is for both, experienced and novice coaches, to review and discuss plays, in game scenarios, rules, etc... This is also the time that you will receive equipment for your team (flags, footballs, mouthpieces).
As a coach, you will have access to our coaches' portal, with informative playbooks and video tutorials created by Drew Brees. You will also have the ability to communicate with your team, set practices, review game schedule and more.
TEAM FORMATION
During the online registration process, parents may request to have their child play with as many friends as they’d like. You may also request a specific coach. We'll try our best to accommodate requests, however there are no guarantees.
Our goal is to create balanced and competitive teams while accommodating as many team requests as possible. You are welcome to create your own team, but must sign up to coach first, and get a coach ID. If you don't have a team or coach specifically in mind, we will assist in finding a good fit for you.

Does my player need to have prior football experience?
FNA is an all-play league. It is perfect for first timers as well as more experienced players.

What is the overall time commitment?
Games are held once a week and typically require a time commitment of approximately 90 minutes. With regard to practices, this varies somewhat by team/coach, but we recommend a minimum hour-long practice per week.

When are practices held?
Practice days/times and location are determined by each individual coach. Coaches will do their best to accommodate players’ schedules so as to maximize practice participation.

How many players are on the field?
FNA plays a 6-on-6 format.

What is included with my registration?
Each participant will receive a full uniform (shirt and shorts) and a flag belt.

When will I hear from my coach?
You should hear from your coach approximately one month prior to the start of the season.

How many players are on each team?
Majority of teams are made up of 9 players.

What is FNA cancellation policy?
